The Yard Inspector is responsible for inspecting and grading all received ferrous and/or non-ferrous materials, verifying material quality and ensuring deductions are made for non-conforming or zero value materials. What we Offer: Life Ins., LTD, AD&D Pension Plan Company Uniforms Overtime When: Monday to Friday: 7:00AM to 4:00PM/10:00AM to 7:00PM – Weekly rotation What’s Expected: Direct the flow of truck traffic in the yard, providing exceptional customer service to Drivers and Brokers; Verify physical commodity type through inspection process, confirming materials meet required specifications; Responsible for identifying, removing and performing deductions for non-conforming material; Documents received commodity, taking pictures of loads; Performs other tasks as assigned by Supervisor from time to time. What’s Required: Must exhibit Triple M Metal LPs Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride; Ability to identify and differentiate various ferrous materials through visual inspection preferred but not required; Previous experience working outdoors will be required; Six (6) months experience in a similar role/environment preferred but not required; OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
