Languages: Must be Fluently Bilingual (English and French) Contract duration: 1 year with an option to extend by 1 year Work Location: The work must be performed from the Contractor’s premises. MANDATORY Requirements ~ Either a University degree or a college diploma AND a relevant professional certification. ~5 years of relevant experience in the provision of "strategic communications consultant services" for the Government of Canada within the last 10 years. ~ At least 2 projects in the last 5 years delivered to the Government of Canada: providing strategic communication advice that reflects the goals, objective and priorities of the work, provide media relations advice to executives that take account of the media landscape and act as media relations officer, develop bilingual communications products, delivery bilingual communications products that promote engagement/consultation activities, and produces graphic design and branding. ~ Project experience producing the following communications products: communications plan, news releases/statements, media lines, media relations, graphic design/branding, social media plan and messages, speeches.
