In addition, we also provide services for alternative resource projects such as geothermal, lithium, helium, hydrogen, and carbon storage.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site, contract role for a Senior Wellsite Geologist located in Calgary, Alberta. As a Senior Wellsite Geologist, you will be responsible for providing geologic interpretation and geosteering services on various projects. You will also be responsible for analyzing data and providing technical input to team members, as well as participating in field studies and preparing technical reports for clients.QualificationsBachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in wellsite geology, geosteering, and geoscience studiesExpert knowledge in applicable geologic and geosteering software (StarSteer)Demonstrated expertise in drilling operations, formation evaluation, well logging, and completionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and interface with clientsSelf-motivated, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and able to work independentlyWillingness to travel and work on-site at various locationsProfessional designations and certifications in relevant areas are considered an asset
