As a Web Developer in the Digital Marketing team, your role is to design, develop, and maintain web-based solutions that enhance the overall customer experience across Ross's digital platforms. Your projects will include the Ross AI Support Chat, which involves implementing and managing AI technologies within the server architecture using Microsoft Copilot Studio. Additionally, you will work on various customer-facing web properties such as the Ross website and other digital assets owned by Ross.

What the job is all about:
Web Development:
Create efficient, testable code and user-friendly interfaces to enhance visitor interactions across all digital properties.
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and troubleshoot website issues as they arise.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement web features that improve user engagement and experience.
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Assist with managing web-hosted assets such as software downloads and documentation for products.
AI Support Chat Development:
Assist in designing and implementing an AI-powered chatbot using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Ensure the chatbot provides accurate, efficient, and human-like interactions to enhance user experience.
Integrate the chatbot with various platforms, including Zendesk, the Ross website, and other public-facing platforms such as Ross Community.
Scale the AI support chat to include all products in the Ross portfolio using vectorized methods to enhance the chatbot's ability to retrieve and provide accurate information across a wide range of products.
Documentation Management:
Facilitate the easy addition and management of new products and documentation sources.
Ensure the chatbot can support an expanding range of products, aiming to cover the entire Ross product portfolio.
AI System Optimization:
Monitor and improve the accuracy and relevancy of AI responses.
Implement guardrails to maintain on-topic conversations and prevent misuse.
Explore advanced techniques and support the optimization of existing systems for better performance.
Integration and Deployment:
Manage the integration of AI solutions with existing digital marketing platforms.
Coordinate with the IT and marketing teams to ensure seamless deployment of AI tools.
Data Analysis and Feedback:
Assist in analyze user interactions and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to enhance the user experience based on analytics and user feedback.
Who you are:
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of web development technologies and frameworks.
Experience with AI/ML technologies and frameworks, including familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI, Power Apps, and other AI tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with WordPress development.
Basic Linux knowledge is preferred.
