We are seeking a dedicated Web Designer with a flair for modern UI. If you are selected to join our team, you must be committed to creating high quality websites and providing outstanding client experiences.

As the liaison to our clients, the selected applicant will guide, communicate, consult and assist them through the process of designing and launching their new website. This includes providing site audits and recommendations via sitemap flowcharts to help clients identify and achieve their unique brand identity. You will be required to speak to clients about the design of their website, build mock-ups and execute the design of the pages on the client’s site via our CMS, while also managing and updating projects.

In this position you will:

• Communicate with clients via telephone, email, and web video calls throughout the website design process.
• Work directly with clients to create a mock-up of what their completed site will look like.
• Design website elements using modern UI, responsive, and typography principles.
• Perform UI/UX duties including, but not limited to, mock-ups, prototyping, wireframing, site mapping.
• Promote and maintain a high quality, professional, service-oriented company image among clients.
• Perform misc. design related and administrative tasks as required and ensure design deadlines are met.
• Keep up to date with current UI & UX trends and incorporate them into your client work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2-years of working in the web industry.
• Portfolio information is highly recommended.
• Work experience with modern web design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.
• Work experience in cross-platform, cross-browser, cross-device, modern UI, and typography design.
• Knowledge of web accessibility principles (WCAG, AODA, ADA).
• Customer service experience.
• Knowledge of working with a Content Management System (CMS) such as WordPress, Kentico.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS.
• Ability to understand and follow wireframes, sitemaps and prototypes.
• Excellent organizational, time management, punctuality and client service skills.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Detail oriented with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good team player willing to take personal responsibility for resolution of issues.
