Job Description

Our team is growing, we’re hiring a Web Application Developer (e-commerce).

You will be responsible with assisting in the development of custom web-based solutions and products for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CSS, HTML, Javascript, and PHP for WordPress paired with a passion for tackling complex problems with innovative solutions. Android or iOS development experience would be an asset. Familiarity with WooCommerce, Java, REST, and other WordPress-aligned languages and protocols would be an asset.

Duties:

  • Collect, document, and analyze client's business needs and problems, solve their e-commerce and software technology
  • Perform research and analysis
  • Design, develop, test and deploy web-based software
  • Assist in upgrading, updating, maintaining, and optimizing applications
  • Evaluate and report on performance and reliability

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or a Diploma in a related field combined with experience
  • Relevant work experience in web application development and WordPress development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organization skills for detailed, timely and accurate project coordination
  • Experience in PHP, CSS, HTML, and Javascript. Familiarity with C++, C#, Java, Python considered an asset
  • Familiarity with industry-standard programming applications
  • Experience with Github and related tools
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
