This role requires strong leadership to provide direction on a cross-functional basis and to ensure the seamless execution of daily operations. The Warehouse Manager will be accountable for achieving best-in-class customer service levels and product availability through on-time delivery and optimal resource management. Additionally, this position involves fostering a positive work culture, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with various departments to align with overall business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management:- Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss and improve accuracy.- Utilize inventory management software to track and manage inventory.Continuous Improvement:- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.- Use Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements.Team Building and Culture:- Foster a positive and productive work environment.- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve high performance and team cohesion.- Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous learning.Budget Management:- Develop and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.- Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.-Process Improvement:- Evaluate and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and productivity.- Implement best practices in warehouse management.- Collaborate with other departments to optimize the supply chain.Collaboration:- Collaborate with sales, planning, and transportation teams through an understanding of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.- Ensure alignment between warehouse operations and overall business objectives.KPI Management:- Define, track, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure warehouse performance.- Use KPI data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.Warehouse Management Systems (WMS):- Demonstrate a good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).- Experience with Infor WMS is considered an asset but not a requirement.Customer Communication:- Communicate effectively and address customer issues promptly and professionally.- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving problems efficiently.Team Player:- Handle the complexity of the business while working collaboratively with all team members.- Support cross-functional teamwork and contribute to a cooperative work environment.Project Management:- Project management experience is considered an asset.- Lead and manage projects to improve warehouse operations and achieve business goals.Other Tasks:- Perform other tasks as required to support warehouse operations and business objectives.Qualifications:- 5 + Years proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.- Strong understanding of inventory management and control.- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.- Solid understanding of budget management and financial principles.- Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.- Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.- Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes is a plus.- Good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); experience with Infor WMS is an asset.- Ability to communicate and address customer issues effectively.- Team player capable of handling business complexity.- Project management experience is considered an asset.Apply and be part of our journey in securing journeys for consumers worldwide!Our ValuesWe maintain integrityWe work as a team with mutual respectWe act with a sense of urgencyWe focus on safety, our environment and qualityApply and be part of our journey in securing journeys for consumers worldwide!Our ValuesWe deliver value to our customerWe maintain integrityWe work as a team with mutual respectWe act with a sense of urgencyWe focus on safety, our environment and quality We invite you to visit our website at www.recochem.com to learn more about our company and our solutions.
