about the role.

We’re on the lookout for someone unique. A person with drive, passion and energy to create something great. As a VP, Business Leadership, you will join our Vancouver team to establish strategic client engagement on our overall media capabilities. The role will encompass thought leadership across all media planning, buying, measurement and changes in the digital media space and how to adjust to the evolving digital media landscape based on our holistic client needs.

As one of our senior business leads, you will continue to elevate our overall media strategy and planning acumen across the teams and be the central point of contact for media/digital knowledge for the clients. You will lead the team of business leads and planners and act as their mentor and connector across other teams within activation and analytics. You will build and maintain senior client relationships, acting as their trusted strategic media advisor and support the development of their overall media capabilities.  

what you’ll do.

  • Lead thought leadership and learning agendas for clients including client evolution in 360 media planning space
  • Drive business growth plans where you define the opportunities and challenges to overcome
  • Define the opportunities and challenges to overcome and build a strong partnership with our clients and internal teams
  • Possess a deep knowledge of our client’s business and our agency network offering
  • Lead digital planning and buying across all media 
  • Work closely with other business leads, to deliver best in class solutions in their respective areas
  • Sustain and nurture strong relationships with senior clients and prospects

what you bring to the table.  

  • 10+ years progressive experience in media and agency management
  • Solid relationship-building, team leadership and presentation abilities
  • Passion for designing and growing best in class services and solutions
  • A proactive mindset - someone who is comfortable looking 6-12 months ahead
  • Extensive experience in designing and delivering direct response, digital media solutions
  • Deep knowledge of media landscape, platforms, measurement
  • Analytically strong, aptitude with numbers
  • Strong business strategy mindset with excellent people leadership skills.
  • People experience management (required)

Salary for this role is $140,000-160,000 annually depending on experience
