Job Description

Our team of experts is looking for a VIE to join them and work on different projects. We have many implemented processes; we need you to work on their development to make them more user-friendly.

As a Power App Development Engineer, you'll play a vital role in revolutionizing our project management processes. Collaborating closely with our project management and commissioning teams, you'll lead the development and implementation of custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps. Your expertise will be instrumental in streamlining our current project execution processes by translating well-defined procedures into efficient and user-friendly Power Apps. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to capital projects worldwide, with active initiatives spanning across America, Canada, Asia, and Europe.

The main role

This role will allow you to work with different departments and BU to create common applications. Your main role will be:

  • Defining the user requirements with the teams.
  • Planning and designing apps for functionality.
  • Designing and implementing best data structure for apps.
  • Designing and developing the user interface.
  • Testing the apps together with Project Managers community and commissioning teams.
  • Deploying the app to users and managing access.
  • Training and technical support for the apps.

If you're passionate about leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation, we'd love to hear from you! Here is what we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, or any related field.
  • Proven experience in developing applications using Microsoft Apps (strong understanding of power apps capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements and provide training and support to end-users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to optimize Power Apps and address technical changes that may arise during development.
  • Data base management knowledge and testing and debugging experience.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of cloud services, particularly Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.

The project management and commissioning teams oversee the delivery of Saint-Gobain static projects, with a diverse team supporting numerous projects worldwide.
