Now Hiring: Vice President – Plant Operations Aswe undertake the expansion of ourmanufacturing facility, we are seeking to add a Plant Head to our teamwith core expertise in leading andmanaging a technologically advancedmanufacturing facility. ABOUT ● Dalmia Polypro is a leading recycler of post-consumer plastic (PET and Polyolefins) waste, headquartered inMumbai, India for nearly two decades. Today, we collect, sort and recycle over a billion bottles annually, supporting nearly 20,000 livelihoods on a daily basis. ● Dalmia Polypro produces high-quality recycled plastic (PET and Polyolefin) flakes and granules serving a variety of quality-sensitive industries. This helps achievemaximum value for the plastic waste collected, fostering circularity, and benefiting the entire value chain. ● Dalmia Polypro is a portfolio company of the Circulate Capital Ocean Fund. OUR MISSION ● Help solve India’s wastemanagement problem andmaximize the value of plastic waste by producing quality recycled plastic materials for reuse. ● Provide sustainable and traceable recycledmaterials meeting the requirements of customer supply chains. ● Reduce overall environmental impact by implementing sustainable initiatives at all levels of business operations and diverting waste streams directed to landfills andwater bodies. DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES ● Responsible for overall P&L, budgeting andOperational and Capital expense of the manufacturing unit. ● Design, implement andmonitor the systems and processes to create and sustain amodern, efficient and technology-enabledmanufacturing unit. ● Accountable for recruitment and development of team. ● Ensure operations for a largemanufacturing facility withmultiple operating lines which involves mechanical processes. ● Demonstrate leadership decision-making, problem solving and analysis skills and own the overall operations. ● Accountable for ensuring all the compliances applicable at themanufacturing unit. ● Ensure health and safety protocols during all stages of production. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE ● Masters or Bachelor of Engineering (PreferablyMechanical Engineer) or any Postgraduate. ● Minimum 15-20 years of work experience in the plastic recycling sector. ● Provenwork experience of 5-7 yrs. as a Plant Head of a facility generating revenue of at least INR 500 crore per annum. ● Must have exposure and experience ofMechanical processes in past assignments. ● Fluency in Hindi, English andMarathi language. ● Strong Business acumen andmanagerial skills.
