VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES – PERSONAL LINES INSURANCE **HYBRID**

LOCATION: BURNABY, BC

REFERENCE: JOB# 69868

Opportunity: Our client, a big brokerage with a phenomenal reputation with both staff and clients, is looking for a VP of Operations for the Personal Lines Insurance Division. To ensure success as a VP of Operations, you will need to have a detailed understanding of operations, corporate structures, and business strategy. A top-notch VP will be able to successfully manage and expand organizational objectives and deliver long-term performance gains to the company.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions:

  1. Overseeing daily operations and performance for the Personal Insurance Division.
  2. Assessing, evaluating, and reporting on staff as well as key business indicators.
  3. Strategizing and implementing operational and structural changes with other senior executives.
  4. Providing oversight and support to the division managers.
  5. Performing regular analyses of business operations and enhancing current business practices.
  6. Preparing, delivering, and presenting reports at key executive meetings.
  7. Ensuring that spending and budgeting are in line with business objectives and relevant legislation.
  8. Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure company growth and stability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A postgraduate degree in business management or risk management.
  • (CAIB, CIP, FCIP) Strong Knowledge in Personal Insurance.
  • 7 Years of management/sales leadership experience.
  • General Insurance Level 3 License in BC (or eligible to qualify).
  • Good Planner and Results Focused (Big Picture Mentality).
  • Decision-making, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work in a team.
  • The Ability to move puzzle pieces.
  • Extremely organized, punctual, and goal-driven.
