Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer and CEO, the Vice President of Leasing will develop leasing and customer experience strategies that align and support the organization's strategic plans and will be responsible for product development and execution of residential rental lease-ups of new purpose built rental communities and the leasing programs of stabilized assets. The Vice President of Leasing will be responsible for planning and the implementing purpose-built rental launches and lease-ups, and playing an active role in pricing, customer, and resident engagement action plans, building programming and resident retention programs. The Vice President of Leasing is responsible for approving the implementing all Leasing Marketing initiatives and strategies working with the leasing team including Sales and Marketing Manager, in managing the Leasing Marketing budget and expenses with ongoing reporting with ownership, while managing and coordinating all Lease-Up deliverables and communications between Marketing Agencies and Ownership. This role is 100% onsite based out of their Toronto office. Qualifications 10+ years of operational and leadership experience in Property Management, Rental, and Leasing sectors, focusing on service leadership and strategic planning. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related professional designation. Proven operational leadership and financial management skills, including budget development, leading process improvement initiatives, and driving change in an organization. In-depth knowledge of relevant industry legislative requirements and proven ability to ensure operational compliance with regulatory authorities. Excellent leadership skills and the proven ability to motivate teams to high-performance levels, including those in multiple geographic locations. Demonstrated success in new residential leasing, tenant negotiations, and familiarity with lease structures and contracts. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to listen, express ideas verbally, and present confidently to various audiences and stakeholders. Familiarity with Landlord and Tenant Board regulations.
