Our client, a leader in the Transportation sector for over 50 years, is looking for a Vice President, Human Resources to be based in their Moncton, NB Head Office location. As the successful candidate you are an experienced and professional HR leader with a proven successful track record of delivering best in class strategic and operational HR solutions that truly impact business success. As an executive team member, you will actively participate in the strategy and business planning of the organization and translating those strategic decisions into effective HR strategies and plans. Collaboration with the Corporate VP of HR and other senior HR leaders across the organization is a key part of the role, as we work together to define and implement the HR strategic agenda. Leading a team of 20+ HR professionals across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Ontario, you will spearhead talent acquisition, development, planning, and performance development strategies to attract and retain top talent. Ensuring the delivery of best-in-class people practices and fostering a positive employee experience. As the ideal candidate you possess a university degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, and hold a CPHR designation or equivalent. Your 15+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources, currently at a senior level and focusing on recruitment and retention, employee growth and development, and compensation will ensure your success in the role. You possess strong personal credibility, effective influencing skills, and outstanding communication abilities. Exposure to Continuous Improvement tools, methodologies, and culture is desirable, along with experience in both non-bargaining and unionized environments. Familiarity with federally regulated companies is considered an advantage. Experience leading an HR team of professionals across multiple sites and provinces within Canada, previous experience working within a Shared Services business model and fluency in both written and oral communication in English and French would be considered assets.
