Every Royal Home is constructed in a climate-controlled off-site facility by a team of highly skilled carpenters and craftsmen, ensuring the utmost quality and craftsmanship.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Vice President/General Manager. The Vice President/General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, managing staff, developing and implementing strategic plans, and ensuring the high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the residential building industry.

This position is newly created for a new Senior Management Team to transition and facilitate the retirements of the existing owner/managers over the next 3 years. Reporting to Senior Management with an initial one-year period to learn the business and operations to later assume the role of Vice President and General Manager. Responsibilities would initially include financial planning, purchasing, drafting, technical services, and sales administration. Responsibilities would next be expanded to include sales and marketing, followed thereafter by all operations.

Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant would be an asset
  • Experience in a leadership role within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of residential building processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • University business degree, preferred
  • 10 years of experience in construction project management, manufacturing, and finance along with previous involvement in legal and contractual matters.
