They are seeking an established designated finance professional to lead the finance team of a key business unit and play a pivotal role in driving their continued success.As Head of finance operations for a group of 20+ companies you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales and operational leaders providing critical insights, advice and analysis to support their strategic decision-making in order to drive revenue growth.Key responsibilities and oversight:Oversee end-to-end financial transactions, analyze and communicate financial results, ensuring accurate monthly management accounting and balance sheet reporting.Support and challenge business leaders plans and forecasts, managing Financial Analysts to produce reliable management information.Review quarterly financial statements and internal control compliance with the Portfolio CEO, meeting routine and ad-hoc reporting requirements.Assist with Purchase Price Accounting for new acquisitions, financial integration, and support investment objectives.Identify and investigate variances against plans, direct revenue analysis, and assist senior management with performance review and planning.Drive improvements in business process efficiency through automation and operational system evaluations.Mentor and develop team members through regular feedback, reviews, and development plans.The Company is offering a competitive compensation package including an attractive base salary and annual performance bonus with strong upside potential. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.QualificationsCPA designation is required, candidates that qualified at a major public accounting firm preferred10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance including 5+ years in a leadership roleExperience in an acquisitive organisation with experience of acquisition integrationProven ability to provide strategic support to drive revenue growth and profitabilityStrong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in revenue recognition principles under IFRS or USGAAP is preferredExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.Proactive problem solver with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.Effective communicator and collaborator, capable of building strong relationships internally and externallyAll interested candidates should submit their résumé for consideration by applying directly to this posting or via email if preferred at careers@caconsultants.ca -- one of our consultants will contact you directly.
