Position Summary
The Vice President, Finance and Administration provides strategic leadership and senior management direction for financial and budget services, contract management, risk management, purchasing, advancement, information technology, facilities and capital planning, as well as ancillary services of the College. The Vice President, Finance and Administration is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Board of Governors, responsible for ensuring the financial sustainability and operational efficiency of the College. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing financial strategies that support the College’s strategic goals, focusing on continuous improvement and optimization of resources.
The incumbent is accountable for creating and sustaining a high-performance team that provides support services to the College. The incumbent is a senior administrator who participates in the overall management of the College as a member of the President’s senior team and includes supporting the achievement of the objectives of Confederation College’s Strategic Plan.
