Experience in the vet industry is a plus but is not required – we are more than happy to provide training. Were looking for someone dedicated to making every clients experience memorable and positive.Your Role:As our VTA, youll be the heartbeat of our clinic, providing both front-line care for our furry patients and essential support to our Veterinarians and Technicians. Your day-to-day will include:· Assisting in various tasks and treatments for our pet patients.· Delivering compassionate care including feeding and walking our patients.· Maintaining a clean and healthy environment by managing general hospital upkeep and cleaning kennels.· Patient handling and restraint with kindness and confidence.· Running lab-work and assisting with diagnostic imaging.· Welcoming our clients and managing reception duties with a friendly smile and efficient service.Are You Our Ideal Candidate?· Adaptable & Multitasking Pro: Youre comfortable wearing multiple hats and juggling tasks in a bustling environment.· Communicative & Warm: Your strong communication skills are matched by your warm, friendly demeanor.· Team Player: Collaboration is second nature to you.· Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Avimark experience is a plus.· Eager Learner: Your enthusiasm to develop your skillset and knowledge in the veterinary field is essential to us, regardless of your current level of experience.Why Taber Pet Clinic?Were not just a clinic, were a family.
