About Us
VetStrategy is a 100% Canadian operated group of veterinary clinics with locations throughout Canada. We believe that veterinary clinics are an integral part of the community they serve and as such we put a large focus on community-based activities and initiatives. Every clinic we partner with is unique and serves a very diverse client base.
- Big Rock Animal Clinic is part of the VetStrategy group of clinics located in Okotoks, Alberta.We are open from 8:30am – 8:00pm Monday, and 8:30am – 5:00pm Tuesday through Friday.
- We have over 40 years of experience providing veterinary care to the furry family members of Okotoks, Alberta. The foundation of our practice is a team of pet lovers who want to continue our legacy of exceptional veterinary care. We are a full-service hospital serving both cats and dogs. Some services you’ll be able to bring to your skill set include consultations, preventive care, pet wellness care, dental care, surgical procedures, digital radiology, laser therapy and more. - Located just 15 minutes south of Calgary, Okotoks is a vibrant, youthful community with more than 85km of pathways connecting all areas of the town and the beautiful Sheep River winding through the center of town. What You Bring
- The ideal candidate will have 1+ yrs of experience.
- A passion for practicing gold standard medicine.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving veterinary practices and technologies.
- Capable of handling a variety of cases and situations with composure and professionalism.
- Relationships are important to you. You easily build strong and trusting relationships with clients and team mates alike.
- Effective communication: You understand the importance of client relationship management and education in promoting animal health and can remain composed during challenging situations.
- Empathy for animals and their owners is a must.
- You work well in the face of an emergent case.
- You work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Everyone on the team is important and has a voice
