In this role, you will be responsible for design, documentation, and integration of digital hardware and software into power supplies as well as qualification of the resulting designs and integration into customer systems.Job Duties/Responsibilities Job duties and responsibilities include:Perform HIL and SIL System testing by using Vector tools such as Canoe, VtestSTudio, etcDevelopment of software test scripts utilizing Python or other common programming languagesWork with OEM and/or Tier 1 customers to replicate their test environment and perform tests as carried out by themMust perform CAN Network Management and Physical level Testing by creating test plan to validate customer requirementsControl lab equipment’s such as temperature chambers, oscilloscopes and similar hardware equipment’s using LabVIEW or scripting language (Python) to perform black box testingParticipate in determining test methodology, test strategy, test plan development and test setupsCreate, update, release, and document test report in system according to planned deliverables at each milestonePerform testing for power supply & energy management systemExperience Required Education / Experience:Electronics Engineering DegreeEngineer = PEO Licensed Designer = Degree or equivalent work experienceMust have 4+ years of experience working in Automotive ECU Testing and QualificationExperience working Power electronics related ECUs such as ABS, On Board Chargers, Battery Management Systems considered an assetProficient in communication protocols like CAN, CAN-FD, I2C, SPIProficient in Diagnostic Testing: UDS, J1939, KWP2000, CANOE Diva CDD based testing, vFlash testingExperience in Python scripting and C (Programming Language)Proficient in testing tools like Vector's CANoe, VTSystem, vTestStudio, CAPL scripting, VectorCast, LabViewCustomer interactions, Requirement Analysis, Test automation, Test Case Writing, Bug Tracking, Test strategyHands on experience doing Black Box Testing and using test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Signal GeneratorsExperienced working with Confluence, Jira, DOORS, GitWork with software/firmware developers to identify test opportunities in test applications and methodsCompetencies Competencies include:Building and Supporting TeamsCommunicating EffectivelyDelivering High Quality WorkEvaluating and Implementing IdeasPrioritizing and Organizing WorkSupporting Organizational GoalsCompensation and Benefits Our benefit package is comprehensive and includes:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceRRSP/DPSPPaid Vacation/HolidaysShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityTuition ReimbursementWe are conveniently located in Markham near the 404/407 corridor with free parking.
