As a visionary in design, you will own the design journey from the ground up, from ideation through to flawless execution, creating groundbreaking features that meet the needs of our dynamic user base.Your daily responsibilitiesOversee the design of new features and enhancements from conception through deployment, ensuring a unified user experience across all platforms;Conduct in-depth user research and usability testing to gather critical insights and identify user needs. Translate these findings into compelling design solutions that enhance user interaction and satisfaction;Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, focusing on refining the user experience and simplifying complex processes;Using story mapping techniques to visualize the user journey and identify areas for improvement;Work closely with product managers, engineers, and analysts to clearly define design problems and brainstorm innovative solutions;Utilize Figma for layout designs and prototyping dynamic interactions, ensuring designs are functional and appealing across various devices and operating systems;Execute visual and interaction designs that are scalable across different devices and operating systems;Guide front-end developers, to foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement, setting high standards and defining best practices;Craft mobile and web interfaces that are not only intuitive and elegant but also enjoyable for users, enhancing overall user engagement and satisfaction.Your skills and experienceBachelor’s degree in Design, or a related field;A minimum of 5 years in creating aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly interfaces on web and mobile design;Strong experience in B2C app design & web design, with a focus on user growth, journey refinement, and usability enhancement;Meticulous, attention to detail and a strong focus on quality control;Skilled in designing and building product from the ground up;Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Proto.io;Experienced with multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android).Perks and benefitsGroup Insurance (Health and Dental) Retirement Savings Plan (RSP)Virtual healthcareEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Hybrid - Office / remote (the team is in the office on Wednesdays)Additional Days off (Moving day, Birthday, 5 personal days)Health and Wellness ProgramOffice perks: Event Coordinator responsible for social activities, 5-7, snacks provided, yoga and meditation roomPaid subscription to training tools Benefits for public transportation (Bixi, Opus)Modern open plan office with pin pong, and pool tableA friendly and relaxed working environment
