Your mission: Collaborating with cross-functional teams you’ll create seamless user journeys and advocate for user centric design. Responsibilities will include:Creating innovative design solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges, including mobile (iOS and Android) and web appsDeveloping high-level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideasCollaborating with product, engineering, and other departments to brainstorm and create low and high-fidelity mock-ups (in Figma)Rapidly iterating - learn about a problem and come up with low-fidelity mock-ups the same day, get feedback, and finalize by the next day to build high-fidelity mock-upsContinuously evolving the brand and quality of designsConducting user testing and interviews to understand user needs, expectations, and goalsOptimizing and simplifying the user experience and the design of the user interfaceWho you are:Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for the implementation of designsBachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or 5+ years equivalent professional experience3+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar roleProficient in FigmaStrong knowledge of usability principles and techniquesStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter and self-motivatedBonus:Experience working in a startup, cryptocurrency, trading, or consumer financeExperience crafting illustrations for productsAt Newton, we celebrate our inclusive work environment and welcome members of all backgrounds and perspectives to apply.
