Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international commodities group looking to strengthen their US bunker and marine fuels trading team with three remote hires in the United States.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

  • As a Remote Bunker Trader, you will be responsible for facilitating the buying and selling of marine fuels (bunker fuels) to clients in the shipping industry on a back to back basis.
  • Actively seek new inquiries from both existing portfolio clients and potential new clients.
  • Grow and develop a portfolio of end user clients across the United States.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, including bunker pricing trends, to generate precise forecasts aimed at optimizing profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of bunker fuel deliveries.

Key Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bunker fuel trading or a related field within the energy or maritime industry.
  • Strong network of transferable relationships within the bunker fuels industry, preferably spanning both the supply and customer sides, encompassing marine fuels.
  • In-depth knowledge of bunker fuel products, trading principles, and international shipping regulations.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and close deals.
  • Based in the United States.
