Working at the unprecedented speed and scale of our platforms, Trust & Safety; Content Standards & Compliance team members apply current, and develop new ways to keep our platforms safe, ensuring that only content which meets our stringent compliance standards appears on our websites, and that any content which may be identified as potentially inappropriate is actioned expeditiously. To make our brands and platforms even safer, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments within the company. That means partnering with members of our legal, trust & safety, operations, customer care, product management, and engineering teams to solve problems and develop innovative ways to combat harmful & illegal content.

*Applicant must be located in MTL for mandatory office days *

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining product(s) compliance by moderating video, image, and text content based on a defined set of guidelines, standards, and processes.
  • Evaluating content with a risk-based approach, while identifying any potential areas of improvement to guidelines, process, or otherwise, to your Lead or Manager.
  • Undergoing periodic training and testing of your understanding of existing, new, or updated compliance standards, guidelines, and processes
  • Meeting quality targets
  • Ensuring accurate and timely recordings of results are submitted at regular intervals.
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with existing and new moderation team members

Must haves:

  • Ability to understand and absorb various policies, standards, procedures, and related documentation.
  • Hard working with the ability to work autonomously
  • Pro-active and resourceful
  • Ability to focus on specific tasks for an extended period
  • Ability to confidently render a decision on reviewed content
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with content moderation, whether with adult content or otherwise
  • Fluency in a language other than English or French (Particularly Hindi, Thai, or Mandarin)
