Fresh off of a Series A led by tier one investors, we are seeking ambitious professionals to join our high performing team.In this role, your responsibilities would include: Owning existing banking relationships, and establishing new ones as the growth of the business requires. Running all payment operations including payments to vendors, customers, and intercompany entities. Maintaining critical treasury management technologies. Preparing weekly, rolling cash flow forecasts to give the leadership team clear oversight of short term cash requirements. Owning and maintaining the company stock record book, including processing the issuance of new employee options grants. Maintaining and updating key capitalization table management technologies. Preparing key FINRA regulatory submissions as they pertain to treasury operations. Maintaining and developing a control environment to ensure robust controls around all cash disbursements. Developing and maintaining a foreign currency risk mitigation process. Developing and maintaining a strategy to maximise investment income on excess funds. Supporting strategic finance projects as needed. A great candidate would…Be a self starter, who loves to dig into fresh problems and stick with them until they are solved. Be detail oriented with a focus on accuracy. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills Have knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis. Be proficient in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, cap table management systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial modelling. Effectively juggle competing priorities and establish realistic deadlines for stakeholders. Enjoy both the opportunity and accountability associated with working in a start-up environment. Hold integrity as a principal value. Required Experience5+ years of banking operations, treasury, or related experience. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Experience with Carta or similar technology is an asset. Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation, or working towards it, is an asset. Experience working in a growth start-up, or rapidly changing environment is considered an asset. Experience working in the capital markets or technology industry is also considered an asset.
