About the role:

The Treasury Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day functional support of the Vantage Risk Treasury team. In this role, you will be responsible for various treasury related tasks, includingcash management, liquidity planning, investment analysis, and risk management.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Cash Management and Liquidity Planning:

  • Monitor and manage daily cash positions, ensuring optimal utilization of cash resources.
  • Forecast short-term cash flow requirements and coordinate with various stakeholders to meet liquidity needs.
  • Execute payments and fund transfers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and report on cash flow trends, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Evaluate and recommend strategies for optimizing liquidity, including short-term borrowing or investing excess cash.
  • Collaborate with finance and risk management teams to develop contingency plans for liquidity stress scenarios.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor treasury-related risks, including liquidity risk, interest rate risk, FX risk and counterparty risk.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to treasury operations.
  • Collaborate with risk management and compliance teams to ensure adherence to risk management frameworks.
  • C ollaborate and assist the Finance team on special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Assist Group Treasurer with banking relationships ensuring the company has adequate access to credit and banking products
  • Provide support to the Group Treasurer for any capital management activities including monitoring capital market transactions and peer analysis
  • Maintain authorized signatory lists at banks and complete AML and KYC requirements with banks are up to date
  • Work with banks to issue LOC’s as collateral for non-admitted business and ensure compliance with credit/LOC facilities
  • Assist with rating agency presentations and informational requests

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in treasury operations, cash management, investment analysis, and risk management within the insurance / reinsurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-specific treasury practices, regulations, rating agency requirements and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in using treasury management systems, financial software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
