We are currently hiring a Training & Safety Coordinator for our Kent store at - 225 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax NS.

What you will do :
Key coach and mentor for all aspects of safety within the facility
Promot e safe and healthy work environment
Create excitement and engagement of our safety culture
Report and identify opportunities to improve
Continuous improvement to our organization’s safety
Train and monitor safety standards
Management and facilitation of documentation/Certifications
Facilitate safety orientation for new hires
What you will bring :
Post secondary education considered anasset
Co mfortable having difficult conversations.
Agile, organized and able to manage conflicting priorities.
A dvance working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products
Work with minimal supervision.
Ab ility to work under pressure with strict time frames
