TRAINING SPECIALIST(Temporary Contract ~15 months) Working at Vision Group's head office means being part of a leading organization in vision correction across North America. Your tasks at a glanceManage the implementation of the learning management system (LMS), Absorb, ensuring it meets organizational needs Create, deploy, and maintain training materials for general onboarding, both in-person and online. Organize e-learning courses, workshops, and other trainings for employees as needed. Support and guide internal content experts in developing and refining training tools, organizing quarterly training committee meetings to ensure project progress. Research learning methods and tools for continuous improvement. Create and maintain the training library , accessible to all employees. Track all trainings and provide necessary information to payroll for compliance purposes. Oversee internal communications for Talent & Culture and corporate announcements. Organize semi-annual company Town Hall events, including establishing agenda, identifying key speakers, coordinating speeches with Executive Management Team, and sending out invitations. Provide support in organizing Employee Experience initiatives such as Employee Appreciation Week, Wellness initiatives, Recognition budgets, and corporate merchandise gifts. Participate in organizing events and contests through the company-wide social committee. Lead the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee by hosting quarterly meetings, organizing initiatives, and establishing a communication strategy. A Clear View of Your AssetsDegree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Communications, or relevant field (considered a strong asset). Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position. Excellent time management, organization skills, and sense of initiative. Experience in developing and delivering in-person or virtual trainings. Practical experience with MS Office and SharePoint management, and comfortable with new technology. Experience in content creation through video and photo editing software (e.g., Camtasia, Biteable, Photoshop). Experience with E-learning software (e.g., Articulate) and Learning Management System (e.g., Absorb) is a strong asset. Proficiency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively in French to support interactions with French-speaking clients or colleagues.
