Training Design Specialist, In-flight ServicesJob DescriptionDo you have a strong passion for learning and development and providing employees with outstanding learning programs and opportunities to enhance their skills.The Training Design Specialist, is an innovative and forward thinking individual, responsible for the development of In‐Flight Service training programs for Air Canada Rouge.RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and maintain regulatory curriculum for Flight Attendant training programs that include objectives, instructional strategies, assessment methods, and evaluation criteria. Apply tested instructional design theories and methods to design and develop a variety of instructional materials foronline, leader-led, social, virtual, and mobile learning experiences, as required. Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process Develop training materials such as instructor guides, participant manuals, multimedia presentations, and e-learning modules that support the learning objectives of the program. Design and deliver instructorqualificationtraining courses Ability to creatively link training to business needs Evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and make changes as necessary to improve the learning outcomes Assist with audits Document control and file management Maintain SMS standards in accordance with company policy/procedures Conduct Flight Attendant recruitment as required KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, certificate in Education or Adult Education, or Training Design preferred. Working knowledge of the Transport Canada Flight Attendant Training Standard, CARs and CASS,an asset. Experience in designing, developing, and implementing high impact learning solutions, using a variety of innovative approaches. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high‐pressure environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (French is an asset) Experience in a customer-oriented role in the airline, hospitality or service industries Demonstrated ability to leverage both creativity and instructional design theory to create innovative and effective learning programs. Previous facilitation experience is an asset. Certificate in project management or change management is a definite asset Excellent knowledge of technology required to enable effective online, leader-led, social, virtual, and mobile learning experiences. Ability to work under pressure, assess priorities and manage strict deadlines Capable of offering creative designs for blended learning environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
