Job purpose

The Training Coordinator oversees the execution of training on the production floor. This position actively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance employee performance and recognize areas of training improvement.


Duties and Responsibilities

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through departmental communication with the Talent Acquisition Team and Production.
  • Oversee and execute an overall or individualized training plan that addresses production needs and expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver training modules as per the requirement.
  • Oversee and update the Learning Management System (Alchemy) as required.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and implementing each year's training program for each department.
  • Seek and gather information from managers and employees regarding the effectiveness of completed training and constantly seek areas of improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them.
  • Report any specific problems and tailor training programs, as necessary.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Manage the onboarding records and the training follow up questionnaires.
  • Constantly communicating with the team for ongoing and new projects.
  • Understand and execute processing training from start to finish.
  • Responsible for daily management and support for the team to achieve operational success.
  • Monitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with Company Procedures.
  • Approve the vacation requests.
  • Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure.
  • Issue disciplinary action when needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a trainer or in a similar role.
  • Experience in developing and executing training programs.
  • Familiarity different training methods such as mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, and simulations.
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Capability to produce training reports and presentations when needed.
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
  • Expertise in Excel and MS office.
