Training Administrator

to join our team in

Nanaimo, B.C . Reporting to the Training Manager, the primary responsibilities of this position include: Monitor the implementation and progress of the training, development, and education initiatives by tracking employee and program metrics, producing regular reports, and identifying trends in data. Manage and maintain up to date information related to training records and certification requirements. Assist with the development and execution of the annual training plan that relates back to the approved budget. Assist to source and coordinate Third Party training providers to conduct training with WCMRC staff. Provide course/program feedback to Technical Training Specialists, management, and external training providers, where applicable. Prepare and distribute all training and development materials and any other related documentation according to schedule. Act as a learning management software (LMS) learner support contact. Work in accordance with all legal requirements, attend and complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents, and take necessary precautions to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. The successful candidate will have completed a high school diploma along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. Post-secondary degree or diploma would be an asset. A valid driver’s license in good standing is a must and previous experience with education and training systems/services (specifically LMS) will be considered an asset. In addition, you will need to be a team player who is able to manage changing priorities, have effective communication skills, a passion for data analytics and keen attention to detail.
