Job Description

Position Summary:Reporting to the Acting Director, Trade Marketing and Revenue Management, the Manager, Trade Marketing will lead the execution of marketing programs to drive consumption and brand consideration for our brands. The role will work closely with our external supplier partners and internal sales team to support the achievement of annual brand KPI’s (distribution, sales growth, etc.) within the required budget parameters. Key Accountabilities:• Brand execution responsibility for all products in the Sofina portfolio;• In conjunction with our Marketing team, create and implement the annual marketing plan with a specific focus on impactful brand execution at key retailers (i.e. merchandising, promotion);• Support the evaluation of brand performance against key metrics (promotional ROI, planned spend) and recommend areas of improvement;• Contribute to monthly performance meetings (Consumption trends, In-market conditions);• In collaboration with consumer insights team, provide sales support with analysis of market/consumer data to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks at the customer level;• Proactively analyzes promotional results for optimization purposes, as well as to identify outside of the box best practices that can be recommended across the organization – promotional discount levels/tactics, ad focus, displays, etc.;• Works with Brand Marketing teams to develop, organize and communicate tools for the sales team including sell sheets, point of sale material, customer programs, instore signage etc.;• In market travel to understand retail banner environment to drive impactful category insights, competitive landscape and pricing effectiveness;• Lead the execution of key branded events. Requirements:• Degree/Diploma in a Business discipline w/at least four years CPG experience (Trade/Brand MKTG or Sales);• Strong analytical skills and understanding of trade spend drivers and measurements (ROI);• Experience analyzing SKU/category level data; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel;• Familiar with Nielsen reporting tools & customer reporting tools (i.e., LDIA, IRI, Retail Link);• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple / diverse tasks;• Able to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner;• Ability to build cross functional relationships (sales, marketing, finance, insights); collaborative strength;• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills;• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
