Job Description

Scope for the position:The Trade Marketing Manager will support the creation and execution of annual Puresource marketing strategies and tactical plans for the Puresource Distributor business as well as key Brands. This role will support marketing activities for exclusive 3rd party brands, focusing on developing, implementing and maintaining strategies to deliver results against set KPIs, identifying key product/brand launches, industry awareness, developing collaborative and influential relationships with brands and internal stakeholders.Duties and Responsibilities:Puresource Supporto Lead the development, creation & maintenance of key Puresource communication pieces (professional PPTs, brochures, digital assets, etc.)o Assist Marketing Manager with Trade shows ( vendor relationships, booth creation, etc.). Attend key trade showso Key liaison with brokers/vendors for value added productive partnershipso Lead the end-to-end onboarding process of exclusive new Brands, including initial analysis and qualificationo Strong analytical skills to identify trends and challenges, ensure strategies align with market dynamics, and to report back to the organization on findingsVendor (Exclusive 3rd party Brand) SupportDevelop a deep understanding of exclusive 3rd party brands & partnersKey lead & liaison to support the day-to-day activities of the vendors listed in your assigned portfolio, including but not limited to: Creation & execution of annual marketing plans & tactics.Assisting with new line/product listings processes for exclusive brandsProactively source seasonal listings and pre-book opportunitiesHelp Coordinate & lead trade show deal activities & trade show floor activities.Lead market activities to support key brands, including advertising, promotions, digital, social and traditional marketing tactics to achieve Brand objectivesBudget management for exclusive BrandsPartner with sales & marketing teams to seamlessly & fluidly drive engagement opportunities of the BrandsOverall, drive mutually successful brand partnershipsWork closely with supply chain and sales team to manage through SKU rationalization and aging inventoryOversee monthly/quarterly reports to our priority vendor partners and sales leads.Work with Key Brands, purchasing & sales departments on the annual promotional, price & new product launch planning calendars for priority 3rd Party BrandsRecognize our role in helping Brands and our retailer partners be successfulRequired qualifications, education, experience, training, skills, background, and certifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field3-5 years of relevant industry experience in a related role (Consumer Packaged Goods preferred)Experience in the nutritional field is an assetExceptional Communication skills, verbal and written; Strong relationship building skillsExtremely Well organized – exceptional project management skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and achieve deadlinesStrong attention to detail - on all areas of a projectExpert in mining data, reporting these data and recommendations in easily digestible formatsCreative thinkerInnate desire to succeedMS Office applications – exceptional use of Excel and PPTAbility to travel to other facilities and work off hours and weekends, when special circumstances arise.Valid passport as travel outside of Canada will be required occasionallyValid driver’s license and vehicle
