This job is fully on-site in PUEBLA, MEXICOJob Summary: The Junior Tool Engineer plays a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of tools and equipment used in manufacturing processes. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, they assist in the design, testing, and implementation of various tools to optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety standards. This role requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail.Responsibilities:Assist in Tool Design: Collaborate with senior engineers to conceptualize, design, and develop tools and equipment tailored to specific manufacturing requirements.Prototype Development: Participate in the creation of prototypes and mock-ups to test tool functionality and performance. Analyze test results and provide feedback for improvements.Tool Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation procedures on tools and equipment to ensure they meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of tool designs, testing procedures, and results. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.Tool Maintenance and Optimization: Support the ongoing maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment. Identify opportunities for optimization and implement necessary modifications.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and research and development to address tool-related issues and implement solutions.Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to tool engineering. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.Qualifications:tooling experience and exposure to welding is a must4th year Apprentice or Certified Toolmaker Previous internship or work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Attention to detail and ability to work independently under supervision.
