Job Description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Tier 3 Systems Analyst (IT Financial Applications) for a permanent position with its Ottawa/Gatineau-based customer. Work LocationThe successful candidate will be required to work on-site at the customer headquarters in Gatineau, QC. Key TasksProvide 3rd level support for the Company’s business applications, including periodic on-call supportPerform analysis, investigation, and testing for solutions regarding technical matters on various business applicationsWork with and maintain COTS Business Financial systemsMonitor and address different types of integration issuesUse different tools to conduct analysis and troubleshooting of technical issues/requests (PLSQL Developer, SFTP Clients, Server Configuration files, Azure, etc.)Coordinate with other groups for maintenance of business applications and servers such as Monthly server patching, Application Refresh, and Certificate/License renewalsCoordinate with the infrastructure team for creation of file shares, folder permissions, commissioning/decommissioning servers, troubleshooting server and network-related issuesConduct intake discussions with users from different departments and with Business Analysts to confirm the requirements and implications, if anySupport and develop customized DB objects, Crystal, SSRS, and SQL reportsEnsure continued, uninterrupted service through identifying and resolving problems in a client/server environmentSupport and create software integrations and external interface along with corresponding technical documentationAnalyze and follow service calls through to resolution using the ITSMHandle different types of cases such as Service Requests, Incidents, Enhancements, RCAs/Bug FixingPerform impact analysis for any internal or external updates introduced to the business applications (e.g. compatibility, performance, or impacts to any integrations/jobs) Key QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience as a Level 3 Application Support and/or Systems Analyst role supporting IT Financial Applications and data integration platformsLevel 3 Technical Support experience with demonstrated experience in monitoring, configuring, documenting, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various Financial Business Applications and data integrations platformsStrong Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (Analyzing, script composition, testing, etc.) and experience creating or updating various types of reports such as SQL Reports, SSRS, and Crystal Reports QualificationsExperience in supporting different modes of integrations (APIs, SFTPs, etc.)Experience using ITSM (Change Management, Incidents, Problem Tickets, Enhancements, Service Requests, etc.) AssetsFundamental understanding of various Azure Resources such as Logic Apps, Key Vaults, Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines, API Connections, etc.Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements About LeverageTek IT SolutionsThank you for taking the time to apply!
