The School of Education invites applications from candidates for a Tenure Track Position in Teacher Education (Assessment) at the rank of Assistant Professor commencing on July 1, 2024. Applicants are expected to have public school teaching experience and to provide evidence of an emerging or established research record. Demonstration of evidence of leadership in assessment will be considered an asset. Teaching will be in the area of Assessment within the B.Ed. program at both elementary and secondary levels. The ability to teach into other core areas of the B.Ed. program will be considered an asset. The School of Education is seeking candidates who are committed to contributing to Acadia’s priorities of decolonization, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Academic Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have completed or are near completion of a doctorate in Education, and who can provide evidence of research and teaching experience relevant to the area of Assessment.
