We are looking to bring on experienced Commercial HVAC/R journeypersons to join our team working along side some of the Best HVAC/R Journeypersons and Apprentices in the industry!Our workload focuses on Commercial, Industrial and Institutional clients throughout Eastern Ontario and the Outaouais Region in Quebec.We offer identical wages packages to the union, minimal on-call per year, technician aligned management, equipment specific training as well as Health & Safety Training and industry related training opportunities, and much more.Responsibilities:* Respond to service calls and perform equipment repairs* Perform routine preventative maintenance* Install new HVAC Systems - Split Systems, Rooftop Equipment & Boilers etc.* Respond to emergency service requests afterhours* Adhere to safety policies and procedures* Customer ServiceMandatory Qualifications:* Commercial HVAC/R Experience* 313A Refrigeration Certificate* G1 or G2 Gas License* Valid "G" Drivers License* Ability to handle physical workload* Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.* Ability to be cleared for PWGSC Security ClearanceCompensation:* Compensation Package same as the Union package* Full Health Benefit Plan (Medical, Dental, Vision, Chiro, Massage etc.)* Short & Long Term Disability Insurance* Life Insurance* Hourly Pension contributions controlled by you and entirely contributed by the company.* 3 Weeks Vacation* Bankable Hours* Minimal On-Call* Afterhours Standby Pay*Please note - This position is based in Ottawa, Ontario.*Job Type: Full-timePay: $71.00 per hourBenefits:* Company car* Company events* Company pension* Dental care* Disability insurance* Extended health care* Life insurance* Vision careFlexible Language Requirement:* French not requiredSchedule:* Monday to Friday* On call* OvertimeSupplemental pay types:* Overtime payEducation:* AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)Licence/Certification:* 313A Commercial Refrigeration Certificate (required)* G2 OR G1 Gas License (required)Work Location: In person
