Job Description
HubSpoke is hiring an IT Project Manager as a permanent employee to join our growing team! You will plan, establish and oversee assigned medium to large public sector IT projects for various agencies in the Federal Government.
What you will do
- Working with stakeholders to define and document project charters, project plans (Work Breakdown Structures, resource plans, training plans), project schedules, and project governance frameworks.
- Establish, track and manage project milestones, budgets and resource requirements
- Forecast, manage and mitigate risks. Create procedures for determining, developing and implementing solutions.
- Oversee the activities of project team members and monitor project task completion
- Liaise with internal and external government agencies
- Develop and implement project communication plans and prepare and report ongoing status updates to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of related experience as a Project Manager
- Must have proven experience using Project Management methodology, tools, best practices, and demonstrate the ability to bring these to a project that is in implementation,
- Must have experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior level stakeholders
- Must proficient with Microsoft Project
- PMP certification
- Possess Federal Government Security Clearance at the Secret Level
Nice to have
- University or College Degree in business Administration, engineering or equivalent
- Experience working in the Federal Government
