Job Description

The Canadian Bankers Association is the voice of more than 60 domestic and foreign banks that help drive Canada’s economic growth and prosperity. The CBA advocates for public policies that contribute to a sound, thriving banking system to ensure Canadians can succeed in their financial goals. The Administrative Assistant works in the office a minimum of three days per week and provides support for the Director of Administration. The Administrative Assistant also provides back-up services for the Administrative team and Office Services. Supports the Director of Administration, including: other administration; provide back up to the Executive, Assistant, Senior Administrative Assistants, and Office Services Manager when required, including, but not limited to vacation coverage. Minimum 2 to 3 years experience as an administrative assistant; Experience in financial services is an asset; Solid knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint as well as and video conferencing technology; Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner; Some knowledge of French is an asset.
