Here's how your role will strengthen our team.The role will function in a multi-faceted role: Enterprise application configuration, development, technical troubleshooting, testing and enterprise application administration/support.Your responsibilitiesERP system configuration, development, and technical troubleshootingAPI Integration development, testing and support between ERP and other systemsDesign, develop, and maintain Python and C# applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutionsWork collaboratively with the IT team to manage stakeholder requestsRegularly update knowledge base and change management system, as well as document all necessary actions and system enhancementsTroubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebaseStay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trendsYour experience and skillsDegree in Computer Science or other relevant education5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Python and C#Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principlesExperience with software development lifecycle and Agile methodologiesExperience developing, configuring, and troubleshooting JD Edwards preferredExperience with web development frameworks such as Django, Flask, ASP.NET, or .NET CoreKnowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptFamiliar with cloud platforms such as AWS or AzureStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAble to foster positive productive professional relationships, with customer service approachAble to solve problems and use sound judgment for decision makingStrong attention to detailAbout HouleAs BC's leading electrical contractor and systems integrator, we believe in delivering safe, reliable power for the future.
