Job Description
On behalf of our client based in Vancouver, Ignite Technical is looking for two Technical Project Managers to join the team for the initial 12 months contract opportunity with strong potential of an extension. Our client is in the process of implementing SAP EAM for station-related assets and SAP EAM and SBS AUD graphical design capabilities for its distribution assets as part of an overall ERP Modernization program.

Responsibilities
- Maintain schedule files in Primavera P6 (training will be provided).
- Maintain cost and resource spreadsheets.
- Configure and manage the project story and issue tracking in JIRA.
- Ensure correct usage of JIRA by the project team (i.e., following up when updates aren’t made or are incorrect).
- Document management within SharePoint.
- Onboarding and offboarding of resources.
- Complete weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
- Prepare steering committee presentations.
- Run team meetings focused on identifying risks and issues for escalation.
- Manage risks and issues.
- Prepare governance documentation as required.
- Stand in for the IT Project Manager when required.
- Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in an SAP environment, but that experience need not be as a PM.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in large complex environments with 7+ years of overall industry experience.
- Experience with SAP Activate will be an asset.
- Experience with Agile SCRUM or any form of iterative development similar to Agile SCRUM will be an asset, especially in the role of Scrum Master.
- Experience with JIRA will be an asset.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent, preferred.
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
- Excellent communication skills for professional environment, written and spoken.
- Completed background checks (identity, criminal record, employment verification, public safety database search, education, and professional accreditation verification check) will be required prior to the start date if you are selected as a winning candidate.
- You will be required to provide your own laptop, basic software tools, and cell phone.
