Our training centers offer hands-on, one-on-one training for technicians, ensuring reliable and superior quality service.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as a Technical Project Manager located in Montreal, QC. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day technical projects, including scheduling technicians for on-the-road servicing, repairs and installation of equipment, project management, team leadership, and communication. The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills and the ability to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.TasksPROJECT COORDINATION :▪ Coordinate work projects and ensure projects meet timelines and deadlines.▪ Visit equipment installation sites for ongoing projects (body shop/mechanic equipment installation).▪ Read, interpret and analyze body shop and mechanical shop plans;▪ Prepare sales quotations for projects, if needed.▪ Negotiate with suppliers.▪ Communicate with local and foreign suppliers for orders.▪ Respond to customer inquiries regarding projects.▪ Correspond with third parties (e.g. architects, governmental departments for any required licenses or permits); ▪ Prepare any necessary correspondence.▪ Ensure supply of parts and equipment for assured service.▪ Keep existing and new certifications up to date.TEAM MANAGEMENT:▪ Prepare Schedule and co-ordinate electro-mechanics for installation or repair of equipment.▪ Follow up with technicians to ensure completion of tasks and deadlines are met.CUSTOMER SERVICE :▪ Respond to customer inquiries and service calls with courtesy.▪ Resolve technical problems remotely.▪ Participate in trade shows and company representation, as required.QualificationsStrong organizational skillsStrong analytical skillsExcellent communication skills (French & English spoken)Experience in project managementAbility to lead and manage teamsKnowledge of technical equipment and systems (hydraulics, pneumatics and electricity)Attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesTechnical degree in Project Management, Electro-mechanics, Business Management degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldPMP certification is a plusBenefits:Family-Work Life BalanceMedical & Paramedical insuranceDental InsuranceTravel InsuranceContinuous TrainingDPSP/RRSPCompetitive SalaryBonusesYears of Service RecognitionFree ParkingPublic Transport nearbyVacationsSocial ActivitiesCellular PhoneEmployment Type:Full-Time
