Technical Project Manager (Azure cloud infrastructure)Our client, Microsoft Gold Partner with technical expertise in Azure PaaS and 7 Microsoft Gold Competencies, is looking to add anotherTechnical Project Managerto their LATAMAzure infrastructure team . It’s a long-term contract opportunity without the end-date. The engagement isfully remote , successful candidates can be located anywhere in Latin America (with a slight preference for Argentina), as long as you are available for a significant overlap with the PST time zone. It’s aclient-facing role , so strong English communication skills (at least B2+ or higher) are required for this role.We are looking for a technical project manager withexperience working on Azure cloud infrastructurerelated projects. You bring technical expertise that enables you to foresee and manage challenges that arise at all stages of an infrastructure project’s lifecycle. You have strong interpersonal skills and are adept at communicating with cross-functional teams. You are a strategic thinker who has strong prioritization skills and a desire to be a life-long learner.The successful candidate will have previous experience running customer-facing projects in large complex organizations. Please note that the role is very much self-directed and outcome focused – only mature Project Managers who are able to manage their own time and take initiative will be successful in this position. Some knowledge of MS tech stack is expected from the technical project manager. Please keep in mind that if successful, you will be asked to take AZ900 exam and get certified within the first 3 months on the job (paid by the client).What you will be doing: Participate in pre-sales meetings with client's C-level executives. Ensure that infrastructure projects meet client expectations in a timely manner. Serve as a touch-point between technical teams and clients to provide insights into projects. Ensure the successful delivery of projects on time. Be the main point of contact for all projects, meaning you are knowledgeable about their status, scheduled timelines, budget, scope, risk, and client expectations. Communicate with delivery teams to assess problems and generate solutions. Communicate with clients to discuss timeline and/or development issues. Liaise with the technical team in Latin America and sometimes in India. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in enterprise level environments. Proven ability delivering customer-facing technical projects. Proven experience delivering cloud infrastructure projects (ideally Azure) Proven Ability to lead/oversee multiple small to medium-size projects Hands-on experience with PM tools such as Asana, JIRA, bonus points for Azure DevOps Basic understanding of the cloud (tech-savvy) Nice-to-haves: Pre-sales experience Experience converting project requirements to technical project plan using CAF (cloud adoption framework). Infrastructure background is a bonus point. Azure certifications Project Management certification(s), such as PMP or Prince2 Of Note: You will be required to provide you own laptop, basic software tools, and cell phone.
