They are looking for a Technical Manager of Operations & Production.
They have multiple facilities across New Brunswick and would be open to this candidate living and working at any of their New Brunswick sites.
They also offer full relocation if required.
They need this person to be able to manage all operations and production across Woodlands and Sawmills.
It is a unique role, in the fact that having a technical/engineering background is key, along with a degree or/and an MBA and is now looking to be a manager of people, or currently already manages/supervises production and operations.
You will also need to have come from a similar industry or competitor and be hungry to develop your career further.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Pulp Mill operates efficiently and meets all regulatory requirements. Includes chip handling/screening, digester, refining, and chemical prep areas.
- Monitor processes and work methods; ensuring outcomes meet the daily management targets. Identifying and implementing department needs in terms of standards, training, lockout processes, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in and/or lead area initiatives and projects.
- Work with and coordinate maintenance and projects.
- Safety and environmental awareness
- Will be willing to support the development of an engaged workforce with a focus on continuous improvement.
This will be a senior and key role in the business.
