René-Lévesque O (ALC HO)time typeFull timeposted onPosted Yesterdayjob requisition idR10021482How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The main objective and purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise with regards to Onsite and Floxal technology to assist the field personnel in the safe, reliable and efficient operation of these assets over the long-term and to provide technical training on this technology.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Operations Support:Provides support to the Operations personnel by leading reliability risk assessments (such as vulnerability studies) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Provides technical support to regions and assists in troubleshooting. Ensures operations reports are updated monthly, invoicing information is accurate and available for month-end reporting. Provides support in budgeting process and capital planning, providing justification for such investments and leading their execution 2. Asset Efficiency:Is responsible to assess the technical efficiency of the assets and work with the field personnel to ensure these efficiencies are maintained at their design level. Establishes operational KPI’s and analyzes plants performance and implements improvement initiatives. 3. Technical Training: Ensures that appropriate training material for the operation of the assets is available for the operations staff to perform training, and will directly provide training when required. Develops and optimizes operations SOP’s for standard and non-standard installations. 4. Asset management:Manages national programs and initiatives to ensure commonality in approach and efficiency in execution. Ensures that best practices and “lessons-learned” are captured in ALC operating procedures and these practices are effectively transmitted and implemented nationally. Leads the implementation of Group documents and initiatives on these assets. 5.Technical Resource:Provides technical assistance with regards to Onsite and Floxal technology with project engineers on non-standard installations to minimize the total cost of ownership, including training plan on SOP’s. Provides operations strategy and budget estimates to the Commercial team for new business opportunities. Develops an international network of contacts with regards to onsite technology and imports the best practices to Canada. 6. Continuous improvement : Works in cooperation with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the work processes and reach the company’s objectives. Promotes experience sharing. Coordinates the technical assistance provided by other groups. ___________________Are you a MATCH?EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS Diploma: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.Training: ALMS, and needs to master FloxAL and On-Sites technologies.Knowledge: Project management, troubleshooting skills, RCA, reliability concepts. Oral and written communication skills. Bilingualism. MS Office.10+ years of experience in operations and maintenance in a related industry.Required to travel throughout the country (approximately 20%), respond remotely to plant emergencies as required.OTHER COMPETENCIES 1.
