You will have the opportunity to be part of a close-knit and innovative team that works with cutting edge technology including machine learning, edge computing and data fusion.General DescriptionWe are looking for an exceptional, lighting controls focused Technical Inside Sales Specialist to join our team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate has prior inside sales experience, a can-do attitude, a commitment to lifelong learning, and is passionate about new technologies.This role will be responsible for the creation of lighting controls designs, quotations, and proposals and responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining customer relationships in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.Success in this role requires the ability to liaison between internal and external stakeholders to create competitive quotes and proposals in a timely and accurate manner. This role reports directly to the National Sales Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce lighting control layout drawings and complete bills of material from construction drawings and specificationsReference Sequence of Operation documentation and provide a system design conformant to the specificationPrepare full Lighting Control Submittal documentationDevelop and deliver proposals to customersIdentify, engage, and work with distributors and lighting fixture OEMs to setup model numbers, ordering codes and logistics needed to facilitate the sales transactionParticipate in product management planningDisseminate digital marketing material to prospective customersMake outbound correspondence (phone, email, etc.) to potential customers and follow up on leadsManage an accurate and up to date sales pipeline through a CRM toolWork with customers to support inquires on order status, warranty claims, and RMAs. Position RequirementsAn undergraduate degree from an accredited university. Experience with lighting controls and systems is requiredDemonstrated experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniquesProficient with BlueBeam or AutoCAD design toolsStrong understanding of technologies and competitive system offerings in the commercial lighting controls marketplace.
