Oxford’s Valuations & Analytics team is responsible for real estate valuations, portfolio and property performance and risk analysis across all markets that Oxford invests. The ideal candidate will combine solid technical skills with a desire to learn real estate finance as an integral part of the Valuations & Analytics team. The candidate for this position will be exposed to the valuation and asset management analytics of investment properties across Oxford’s global portfolio.As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:Designing, building and maintaining reports, tools and templates used to create and maintain Oxford valuation models using VBA, SQL and / or related skills;Assist in the development and maintenance of the team’s database, which tracks historic and forecast property results and market information;Liaise with Oxford’s Information Technology team as well as third party systems service providers in the sourcing, development and maintenance of internally and externally managed software and systems;Lead regular testing and implementation of annual system upgrades and process improvements;Conduct market and economic research, assemble and interpret macro-market trends.Participate in the creation and maintenance of valuation models primarily using Argus Enterprise to reflect changes to the portfolio and market conditions; Liaise with accountants, asset managers, leasing and property management groups in data collection for periodic valuation updates; andPrepare annual written valuation reports.To succeed in this role, you have:Relevant undergraduate or advanced degree with 1-4 years of work experience;Candidates must have completed some computer programming courses at a post-secondary level and have a well-developed understanding of the principles of programming;Proficiency in SQL, VBA (or equivalents), and Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) is required;Knowledge and experience with data visualization or business intelligence software is considered an asset;Demonstrated interest in, or prior work experience, in real estate or investment finance is considered an asset;Knowledge and experience with ARGUS Enterprise is considered an asset;Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail;Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, problem solving and project management skills;Ability to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines;Flexible attitude towards a variety of work tasks is required;Valid Passport for International travel as needed.#LI-HybridOur story:Oxford Properties Group (“Oxford”) is a leading global real estate investor, asset manager and business builder.
