Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Account Manager who is energetic, driven, and excited about solving client challenges in domestic design, engineering, and manufacturing with a customer service mindset to join our client’s team.
Responsibilities
- Achieve Sales Targets: Develop and execute sales plans, track metrics, analyze performance, and report to management.
- Manage and Grow Accounts: Build strong relationships, provide ongoing support, identify upsell opportunities, and manage D2C sales processes.
- Technical Support: Understand customer requirements, conduct product demonstrations, and collaborate with product & engineering teams.
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities, conduct market research, and collaborate with marketing on sales strategies.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, participate in training, and enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Travel for work (approximately 25%) is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in technical sales B2B within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical knowledge of thermoplastics or similar materials is an asset.
- Strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel for events and meetings.
- Proven track record of closing deals and a creative, innovative mindset.
