We are a fast-growing international high-tech company offering high-performance non-destructive testing solutions for the inspection of critical components. On a day-to-day basis, we develop, produce and market non-destructive testing devices: sensors, probes, robotic solutions, etc., as well as the necessary operating software. Our instruments have applications in a variety of industries, including oil & gas, aerospace and nuclear.

Are you up for a challenge in the world of high-tech? We'd love to have you on board! Eddyfi Technologies is looking for a Team Leader, Procurement to join our team.

Your daily life:

As a key member of the team, you will manage the procurement team. You will also perform purchasing and inventory control functions for complex components purchased in Quebec and internationally.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage time and priorities of employees under supervision.
  • Prepare daily meetings and follow-ups with procurement team.
  • Perform the tasks of a purchasing specialist (order preparation, order confirmation and follow-up, etc.).
  • Support buyers, as needed, in bidding and negotiating (price, incoterms, payment terms, etc.) to optimize total cost.
  • Participate in periodic evaluation and fine-tuning meetings with department employees.
  • Welcome and train new employees.
  • Ensure the development of team members' skills and the maintenance of company standards.
  • Maintain KPIs and inform his/her manager, if necessary.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement-related processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Eddyfi quality system procedures and requirements.
  • Any other related duties.

What We’re Looking For:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration (BAA), majoring in operations and logistics;
  • You have two to five years of relevant experience;
  • You have excellent knowledge of the Office suite;
  • You have knowledge of the SAP system (an asset);
  • You have knowledge of electronic components and machining;
  • You have excellent time and priority management skills;
  • You have excellent knowledge of inventory control and manufacturing operations;
  • You are able to work under pressure;
  • You are able to make decisions quickly;
  • You are rigorous and enjoy working as part of a team;
  • You have good leadership and people management skills;
  • You have good judgment;
