There is reimbursement for tuition, annual performance and compensation reviews and regular skills and training updates.Your new roleIn this newly created Team Lead in the Corporate law group, you will be overseeing a group of 10-15 Law Clerks., roughly 6 of which are more junior whom you will be mentoring, although this group is truly the cream of the crop in corporate transactions. As the Team Lead, you will be the face of this group, distributing and monitoring workload, liaising with Partners, Lawyers and frequently collaborating with Team Leads from other groups, including Special Projects to give insights on internal initiatives. This is a dual role- as Team Lead, you will also be asked to docket 1400 hours annually and a be a valued, contributing member of the team. What you'll need to succeed5-10 years of experience working as a Corporate Law Clerk. Previous management experience is not required, although it is helpful and nice to have. A complete understanding of the Canada Business Corporations Act.
