Assignment: Part-time 0.30 FTE probationary teaching position Instructing in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom Duties to commence August 28, 2024 and continue for the reminder of the 2024/2025 school year. Qualifications: Experience working in Pre-Kindergarten would be considered an asset Understanding of emergent literacy and numeracy skills through a play-based model would be considered an asset Ability to vary instructional strategies to effectively meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities Strong planning, organizational and interpersonal skills Willingness to work in a team orientated learning environment and be a positive team member Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring and inclusive spaces for all students Commitment to ongoing professional growth Application: *Applications for this employment opportunity are preferred via email.
